The Colca Canyon Tour is the perfect opportunity to see the majestic flight of the condor, witness this special landscape, and see the most beautiful agricultural terraces in Peru. The rich culture can be found in all traditions and customs; the joy of these people is apparent since they cannot resist dancing and listening to Wititi dance.
This is an exclusive tour from Arequipa to Colca Canyon with private and personalized service.
We pick you up from the hotel in Arequipa to take the route to the Colca Valley. We will cross the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where wild vicuna appreciate their natural habitat, along the route may see large number of small lagoons where llamas and alpacas stop to quench their thirst.
We will stop at the lookout point to observe the Patapampa Viewpoint to the Andes, then start decending down to the Colca Canyon.
We reach the town of Yanque in the afternoon and we will take a short walk through the archaeological remains of Uyo Uyo (accompanied by a local guide). At the end of the day the group will visit the thermal baths of Chacapi.
The next day, in the early morning, we drive to the Condor Viewpoint and do a little walk by the margin of the Colca Canyon and we will visit different villages and colonial churches.
The third day we tour along the right bank of the Colca Valley, which is seldom visited by tourists, and then return to Arequipa in the afternoon
