Colca Canyon Tour choose your hotel (shared service)

Duration: 2 day(s) - Location: Colca Canyon

Participants will be picked- up from the hotel and we will head to the Colca Canyon or “Valley of Wonders” as it was named by the writer Mario Vargas Llosa. We will round the Chachani Volcano and come to the Natural Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where you will surely find wild vicuna herds grazing completely free. Then, we will make a stop at the wetlands (lagoons) of Patapampa, Toqra and enjoy the natural view of the Cordillera de los Andes.

Travellers arrive a variety of hotel options in Chivay (if you choose one there) and go for lunch (not included in the price). If you choose a hotel in Yanque, you have to wait unil after lunch and La Calera hot springs to go to your chosen hotel.

There is a folkloric show at dinner, only if you choose a hotel in Chivay.

The next day, we will visit Yanque Square where a group of children will perform a dance show for visitors; the children dance to raise funds for the local school. Then we will go to Colca Canyon, the second deepest in the world, and arrive at the Cruz del Condor to observe the majestic condors in flight.

On the way back, we will stop at Achoma and Maca, picturesque Andean villages, to see how the locals live in the Colca Valley.
