Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

The activities in this cove began with the initiative of a group of friends that wanted to use this area for the planting of scallops. Envisioning the tourist potential, they then decided to open a hospitality area for those interested in visiting this beautiful Peruvian destination.

They have a lodge with a maximum capacity of 28 guests, groundwater-use and have generated electricity.

They have been awarded in the years 2007 and 2009 the Ecoplaya Prize because of their activities to promote and maintain the environment of the creeks, as well as the productive sustainability of the place.
